The Real Story of the Migrant Mother – A One Act Play

What? A scripted piece? Scripted? Yes, I temporarily veered away from improv into more traditional theater with this original work from the burgeoning Irvine Theater Company.

The piece was a one-act play created out of reconstructed historical events surrounding the taking of one of the most famous photos in Americana – The “Migrant Mother.”

Since the Irvine Theater Company is still seeking out a permanent space, we performed the play in a Great Park art gallery that was featuring the famous photo.
